Tom had been a renowned breeder and supporter of Teeswater sheep for many years and more recently a Life Member of the Association. He had beena director of Kendal Auction Mart (L & K Group) and more recently could be seen at Westmorland Show, where he was always a welcoming face and made sure everyone got settled in and had everything they needed, includingsomething to eat if they arrived to stay overnight. Tom and Barbara were very efficient stewards of the Teeswater classes too.
